Domestic: Recruitment of two (2) persons with a fixed-term contract

THE KYTHIRA AND ANTIKYTHIRA LOCAL PROPERTY COMMISSION

Having regard to:

1. The provisions of Article 206(1) of Law 3584/2007 (Government Gazette 143/A/June 28, 2007), as replaced by the paragraph 2 of Article Article 41 of Law No. 4325/2015 and was completed by the Paragraph 2 of Article 4 of the Legislative Act (Government Gazette 102/August 26, 2015, Issue A), which was ratified by the Article 9 of Law No. 4350/15 and was replaced by the Article 116 of Law 4547/18 and the Article 43 of Law No. 5043/23 (An exception is introduced regarding the duration of fixed-term contracts for personnel employed in fire safety and coastal lifeguard services, the duration of which may not exceed four (4) months within a total period of twelve (12) months).

ANNOUNCES

The hiring of two (2) individuals under a four (4)-month fixed-term contract for the protection of forests, forest areas, and firefighting during the fire season, as follows:

1. Fire Safety Worker: two (2) for the Local Property Committee of Kythira and Antikythira.
2. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS: None required

CONTRACT TERM: Four (4) months

GENERAL RECRUITMENT QUALIFICATIONS 

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 65.

They must be in good health and physically fit enough to perform the duties of the position they choose.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED 

The following documents must be submitted with the application:

1. A photocopy of both sides of your identity card.
2. Certificate of marital status if there are dependants
3. Affidavit pursuant to Law No. 1599/1986 in which the candidate declares whether, during the last twelve (12) months prior to the submission of their application, they have been employed by the same public-sector entity in the same or a similar specialty, in order to determine whether the candidate is ineligible for employment or not.

The twelve-month period is calculated—to ensure there are no obstacles to hiring—starting from the end of the new employment period for which the employee is to be hired and counting backward.

4. In order for unemployed people Latest a certificate from the Employment Agency.
5. Large Families and Children from Large Families: A recently issued family status certificate from the municipality accompanied by a certificate of the Supreme Confederation of Large Families of Greece. .
6. To prove prior work experience, a certificate from the social security agency or the employer.
7. To prove residency: Certificate of Permanent Residence.

Deadline for Submission of Applications

Interested parties may submit an application along with the required supporting documents to the office of the Local Property Commission within five (5) days from the day following its posting on the bulletin board of the office of the Local Property Commission of Kythira and Antikythira, on the bulletin board of the municipal office of the Municipality of Kythira, as well as on the www.diavgeia.gov.gr.
