The Daughter of the Morning is a modern quality song, a melodic ballad that is full of elements of timeless value such as poetry, lyricism and sensitivity. It marks the collaboration of composer Linos Kokotos with poet Thanasis Saltas and performer Nikos Androulakis. The poetic writing of Thanasis Saltas, the musical sensitivity of Linos Kokotos and the velvety interpretation of Nikos Androulakis make the song special.
The song "Daughter of the Morning" is included in the play Alafroiskiotos, a superstition of Crete, written by Thanasis Saltas and Ioanna Mastoraki and performed every Sunday from 5 November 2023, at Lyhnos Theatre and on tour throughout Greece.
