THE GREEN CITY program is implemented in cooperation with the REGION OF ATTICA, EDSNA and Citipost and is addressed to approximately 4 million citizens in 66 municipalities of the Region of Attica.
Through THE GREEN CITY, 60 Mobile Green Points will operate predetermined routes, stationed and operating in every municipality of the Region of Attica, as well as in the Municipality of Kythera.
The first visit of the Mobile Green Spot will take place on Wednesday 25/08 at the following stops:
- 1st stop: Municipal parking lot of Chora Kythera (9:30 -11:30)
- 2nd stop: Junction between the provincial road of Kythera and the settlement of Fratsia (12:30-14:00)
- 3rd stop: Mole of Ag. Pelagia (15:00- 16:30)
Citizens are informed through the mobile application THE GREEN CITY about the points where the Mobile Green Points will operate and bring separated recyclable materials. In this way they are given the opportunity to recycle materials of several categories and are rewarded.
The type and weight of the materials submitted for recycling are converted into points and citizens gain benefits through the partner businesses of the program, which are presented in the mobile application THE GREEN CITY.
