The fire in Mylopotamos has been extinguished, damage is being assessed (photos)

The fire that occurred earlier on Tuesday afternoon in the area behind the parking lot Mylopotamos, on the descent to Fonissa Waterfall. The fire department responded immediately, with three vehicles rushing to the scene. A vehicle from the Kythira Police Department was also found in the area, as well as the Deputy Mayor for Civil Protection and Climate Crisis., Yannis Katsanevakis.

Initial reports indicate that 150 square meters of low vegetation were burned. The causes are being investigated by the Kythira Fire Department.
