«Mr. Mayor, no matter how many uncomfortable questions you delete from your account, I will not stop asking them until they find an answer and especially a solution. So I ask:
- Are the containers at River Elementary School expired or not?; Their expiry makes them unsuitable for use, yes or no?; If the answer is yes, why have you not done what you need to do to replace them?;
- The school toilets are outside the building. In the winter with many winds my daughter in her attempt to open the door was thrown five meters away from it because of the wind. Not just my daughter. It's happened to other little kids. Do you even care?;
- The courtyards one is dirt, the other is concrete with loose uneven spots everywhere. Rocks, stones and broken concrete “patches” are protruding. The back of the school yard is crumbling. Do you intend to deal with it even now?;
- The entrance to the school is also dilapidated. We are talking about an iron door resting on a broken column ready to fall. Will you do something about it?;
Ten years at the helm of the City and promises of new school facilities. As far as I know, your predecessors have kept that promise. What exactly does your logic tell you? That until the new school is built, if it ever is, we will let the existing buildings fall into disrepair playing with the safety and dignity of the children?;
Are you bored, Mr. Harhalakis?; What is the situation on the island?; If you get bored, you can step away and do what inspires and fuels you. But as long as you choose to be in this position, you have an obligation to take care of certain things.
It is not possible to send our children to school and have our leaf shake. You are aware and therefore responsible and accountable for anything that happens to any student.».
