The Municipality of Kythera informed through the official website the residents and visitors of the areas Lialian, Perleganic and Durian, as well as the Agia Pelagia, for upcoming water supply interruptions due to faults in the main water supply pipes.
Specifically, in the settlements of Lialianika, Perlegianika and Dourianika of the local community of Logothetianika, the shutdown will take place on Monday 12 August from the morning until 17:00. The restoration works will take place in the square of Panagia Priyadiki. Therefore, residents are requested to remove their vehicles from the square during the works.
At the same time, in Agia Pelagia, there will be a water supply interruption on Sunday 11 August, from 11:00 in the morning until 15:00 at noon, due to a failure in the main water supply pipeline. Municipal crews are already working to repair the damage.
The Municipality of Kythera apologizes for the inconvenience caused and assures that every effort is being made to restore water supply to all affected areas as soon as possible.
