The Kythiraikos Link - Kythira Cultural Centre, in cooperation with the Kythira Foundation for Culture and Development, held a very successful conference on 13 December: «Kythera after the fire of 2025: Restoration - Regeneration - Prevention», dedicated to the next day of the island.
Through suggestions and a meaningful dialogue, the consequences of the fire and the ways of restoration and protection of the place were highlighted.
With 116 years of presence in cultural and social events, our Association remains steadily present, with knowledge, responsibility and love for Kythera.
We would like to thank the speakers, the representatives of the Hellenic Society for Nature, WWF Hellas, MedINA, IMDO ELGO Demetra, the sponsors, the volunteers and all those who participated, giving their thoughts and suggestions for tomorrow.
The fire left scars, not silence.
Kythera is reborn, with knowledge, collectivity and love for our land.
