Traditional dance lessons
Delivered by free of charge every Friday with teacher
Mr. Maria Kamoliki, graduate of the Department of Science, Physical Education & Sports of the University of Athens, specializing in Greek traditional dance, and with many years of experience in teaching folk dances in municipalities and cultural associations.
The departments will operate during the following hours:
- Small dance 8:00-9:00pm
- Big dance 9:00-10:00pm
Musical instrument lessons
Delivered by free of charge every Friday by music professor Mr. Manolis Stathis (Spitheas) with many years of experience in teaching music and with special knowledge of the traditional music of our island. At the same time he writes music and sets lyrics by Kytherians (Panos Filis, Nondas Koulentianos, Giorgos Kasimatis). He created the first orchestra with children in the Kytheraic Brotherhood. The instruments that will be taught are violin, guitar, harmonium, lute.
The departments will operate during the following hours:
Section A 7:00-8:00pm
Section B 8:00-9:00pm
