Nikos Didymiotis continues to earn accolades. Following his participation in the competition section of the 17th BIKY Children's and Youth Film Festival, in Busan, South Korea, through the European Meeting of Young Audiovisual Creators – Camera Zizanio of the Olympia Film Festival, the young filmmaker from Tsirigoti was invited to participate in the festival’s competition section as well Dubrovnik Film Festival, which took place in the Croatian city between October 13 and 16.
Nikos’s film “The Outcast and Tilandi” was screened along with 50 other films by emerging filmmakers in the Festival’s Competition Section.
Regarding the film, a young filmmaker—the son of the renowned Kythirian director Giorgos Didymiotis—had stated: «My cousins and I made a movie over the summer just to keep from getting bored.».
