It is with great joy and pride that the Consulate General of Greece in Perth announced the arrival of a Presidential Guard honor guard—for the first time in Western Australia— as part of the celebrations marking the National Holiday of October 28, 1940.
The Evzones will be in Perth from November 1 through 7 and will participate in a number of events, culminating in the Thanksgiving Service and wreath-laying ceremony for October 28 on Sunday, November 6.
The detailed itinerary for the visit will be announced in the coming weeks.
