The testimony to the Inquiry of Christos Rammou, President of the Hellenic Public Prosecutor's Office, radically changes the data on the major issue of wiretapping and especially the surveillance of Androulakis. Mr. Rammos allegedly claimed that the destruction of the wiretapping file of the PASOK-KIN.ALL president was done on the same day that Nikos Androulakis denounced his surveillance and even on the orders of the then head of the NIS, Panagiotis Kontoleontos. Rammou's testimony continues today, Wednesday.

- The date of July 25 is no coincidence as the next day, July 26, Nikos Androulakis appeared before the Supreme Court and revealed the attempt to track him with the Predator malware.

The KKE MP and member of the Commission of Inquiry, Nikos Karathanasopoulos, in a statement after the end of the Commission's work, said: «Theatre of the absurd! The “I don't know, I can't” has become pandemic. On the one hand, the invocation of secrecy by the current director of the NSA and, on the other, the declared ignorance of the current chairman of the NSAE on the issues of the controls on the KKE case, described in its findings, make it virtually impossible to control this serious case of surveillance. This confirms the JPC's assessment of a deliberate attempt to cover up the case, with shared roles in this process. The above makes it imperative to call as witnesses the former chairman of the CPS, the CPS technicians and the providers repeatedly requested by the JRC. Otherwise, we denounce as unacceptable the apparent attempt to prematurely conclude the work of the committee of inquiry, which will be the ’icing on the cake“ in the cover-up effort.
