According to an announcement by the government spokesman, Yannis Economou for the Region of Attica and Crete the following apply:
- Thursday 27 and Friday 28 January, after consultation with the regions, schools will not operate face-to-face, but by tele-education.
Thursday 27 and Friday 28 January, nurseries and kindergartens will remain closed, creative activity centres for children, creative activity centres for children and people with disabilities and day care centres.
For Thursday 27 January, there is a strong recommendation for teleworking in the private sector where possible, while in the public sector there will be teleworking depending on the needs of the services and any access problems.
Thursday 27 and Friday 28 January, the courts will not operate.
For Thursday 27 January, shops may be open from 10.00 to 18.00.
For Thursday 27 January, delivery and courier services are not permitted.
On Thursday 27 January, the scheduled childhood vaccinations will not take place at the mega vaccination center Prometheus and at the Pedon Penteli. All other vaccinations for children, as well as adult vaccinations, will take place as usual. For those who do not come to a scheduled appointment, a text message will be sent for a new appointment.
After 06:00 the timetables of OASA
Due to the increased risk of frost on the road network today and Thursday during the early morning hours, the routes will start after 06:00.
The efforts of the group OASA for the operation of services, where practicable, shall be continuous, with priority given to the safety of passengers and workers.
How the tax offices will operate in the affected areas
The Tax Office of Kifissia, Psychiko, Pallini, Cholargos, Maroussi, and IB Athens today 27/1/22 will open to the public from 10:00 am, with reduced staff, due to attendance problems, caused by adverse weather conditions, according to an announcement by ADDE and after prior communication with the relevant municipalities.
