So, the focus on May 3—after 6 months—but with a curfew starting at 11 p.m. First of all, let’s see how many businesses will open. (In Israel, according to a Vice report, 40% of restaurants did not reopen after the lockdown.).
Let's see which store will manage to stay open when, at a quarter past 10, it starts packing up, even though the market closes at 9, just as night is falling. There are also the many necessary restrictions—outdoor seating, spacing between tables, a limit of four people per table, and so on—which make reopening even less viable.
Not to mention that I don't believe people who are out at 11 p.m. will go home and won't hang out in the squares—especially young people.
Don't you think the authorities should finally explain to us, with logical arguments, why they're banning traffic at night? And above all, what’s going on with the times: first they banned traffic at 9, then at 6, then again at 9, and now at 11. So, what are the virus's hours of operation, anyway?;
